Punishing without paddling...

Though I’ve been a teacher since a long time so I’ve been dealing with kids a lot but the real meaning of ‘understanding a kid’ imbibed in me when I became a mom. There are times when kids will make mistakes; some mistakes might make you (as a parent) feel like paddling. Before you hit your kid, ask yourself "Is hitting the only solution to this situation?" Physical punishments like paddling are never an option because once you started it there is no turning back. Your kids learn from you. Paddling results into extreme behaviors; the kid may turn extremely violent or may turn intimidated. It not only injures the kid but they also turn stubborn and it may affect them mentally. Kids who are paddled showed higher tantrums as compared to others. Remember: ·          Kids are kids, they’ll make mistakes. ·          Try different ways to show anger instead of beating. ·          Your behaviour will be transferred to them and their upcoming generations. ·          They are

DO’S and DON’TS while opting streams: SHARE with the people who are in 10 th and are now going to opt streams in 11 th . They are ‘super seniors’ for a reason. ·          Prepare a char

To improve the education system and education materials, the following steps should be taken into consideration: ·          New researches should be added to the courses. ·          Updating the education material a regular intervals of time. ·          The new researches should be related to the old ones, so as to learn from their mistakes and drawbacks to have a better result in further researches. ·          Students should be provided with the environment where they could learn apart from books for e.g. from their surroundings, from environments, from the real companies. Textual contents do allow learning but learning from the real world’s conditions provide better understanding and develop a sense of changing things that could be improved. ·          Along with research, the researchers should also be bought into limelight in the textbooks. ·          Competitions and seminars should be held at regular intervals to increase the interest of students in this. ·          Researcher

Research in Education

Education refers to the expansion, enhancement or enlightenment of one’s own ideas, skills, knowledge, creativity or experience in order to sustain a better life for himself or the community or the environment. Therefore, education is most important in today’s world to make it a better place. Though the education may be of many kinds but the ultimate agenda of these is to learn from the previous attributes, topics, subjects or traits and to expand them simultaneously. Education can be directly linked to growth in a field. However, only education can never lead to the growth of any individual or a nation. Research and education must go hand-in-hand to achieve the goals. Though there have been many definitions of research according to different scientists but according to SHODH GANGA, ‘Research’ refers to “a scientific investigation of finding solutions to technical and social problems through objective and systematic analysis. It is a search for knowledge, that is, a discovery of hi
