Research in Education=Part-2

To improve the education system and education materials, the following steps should be taken into consideration:

  • ·         New researches should be added to the courses.
  • ·         Updating the education material a regular intervals of time.
  • ·         The new researches should be related to the old ones, so as to learn from their mistakes and drawbacks to have a better result in further researches.
  • ·         Students should be provided with the environment where they could learn apart from books for e.g. from their surroundings, from environments, from the real companies. Textual contents do allow learning but learning from the real world’s conditions provide better understanding and develop a sense of changing things that could be improved.
  • ·         Along with research, the researchers should also be bought into limelight in the textbooks.
  • ·         Competitions and seminars should be held at regular intervals to increase the interest of students in this.
  • ·         Researchers should be provided with the financial support
  • ·         Students should be encouraged to put forth their novel ideas.
  • ·         Proper guidelines should be set for research programmes on school and college levels, so as to bring it forth.

These are the certain things that will surely improve our countries education system if followed properly. Learning itself is a part of research. One can increase the limits of researches by learning and hence the learning is the link between education and researches which is very important aspect. The only asset of research is learning. Learning is the vital key to promote research.

By learning, it doesn’t mean to cram up or mug up things. Learning here means to explore. Explore each and every event, the cause of the event and its result. Exploration may be of any kind, in any field but the major thing to keep in mind is that research should be done in a step-by-step and systematic manner. Or else, the exploration work in the field of research can be very hectic and confusing which may ultimately delay the results. The procedures however hardly matter in this but the end results matter the most. There should be certain steps that should be followed in research. These steps are the main aspects of research:

·         Curiosity

·         Exploring

·         Learning

Curiosity is the mother of all inventions. It leads to the explorations of events. These events may be occurring in the physical world or may be a kind of idea in one’s mind. Once exploration starts, learning simultaneously occurs with each passing result. This learning leads to discovery or invention and when it is considered again for further work, that process is research. When there is optimum knowledge gained in any field, then it is aggregated and provided to students for education. However, this all process is slow because it is a long procedure with uncertain results. Uncertainty in research is the main drawback due to which establishing a relationship between the research and education had been difficult since ages.

Finally, at the end the only thing that can be done to improvise our education system, we need to add research education into our daily basis. Research should not be limited to only certain areas. Research skills should be developed in kids from a young age. The novel ideas of students should be accepted and encouraged which will ultimately connect more and more students to the field of research and make new paradigms of research in the education.
